Abi (アビ, Abi ) is a Hydra Incarnate and member of Incarnate Soldier Unit during the War.

Appearance

Abi is a slim man with red hair that's stylized into a mohawk, with some of it drooping over his forehead. He has purple skin along his left side as a result of becoming an Incarnate.

As a Hydra, he has three purple, snake-like heads with fangs and scaly skin. He has green eyes and they only appear on the middle head. He has fins at the top of his heads and along his elbows.

Abilities

• Poison Generation: Hydra 's Incarnate can create a highly corrosive poison that is capable of melting anyone he bites. It can also come in a mist form that can kill the average soldier once they inhale it. His poison can be extracted and be weaponized into bullets.

History

Past

During the War, while in his Incarnate form he began to attack soldiers from both Northern Union of Patria and Southern Confederation of Patria. Confronted by Hank Henriette he asks for him to stop him but, he was shot by Northern soldiers. Wounded on the ground, he tells Hank it wasn't him it was something else. When Hank calls for a medic, Abi kills himself. The next day, Abi's body is burned with the unit gathered around watching.

• Although not mentioned by name, Hydra is mentioned during the battle of Bold Creek Fort.
  • Martin Wall mentions Northern Union of Patria created Alphard by studying the corpse of the Hydra Incarnate.
  • When Miles Byron's body begins to disintegrate, Hank mentions of Hydra's ability.
• Despite that his incarnate form is based off of Greek mythology, it is also a reference to the star Alphard, which is the brightest star in the Hydra Constellation.
• In the manga, Hank tells Miles that he "Killed Hydra", contradicting Abi's suicide in the anime. It is unclear when he might have been killed since the character has not made a physical appearance in the manga.
