Ned is a Cyclops Incarnate and member of Incarnate Soldier Unit during the War.
Appearance[]
A muscular giant. His muscular body is on par with other battle-type Incarnate. He only has one eye and there are two giant tusks protruding beside his mouth.
Personality[]
Even though he is an Incarnate, he is pretty mild and never show any interest for combat. Though there were occasional cases in which the characteristics of a candidate carried over in the Incarnate transformation, it was unusual for them to be amplified in the manner of the Cyclops. Some Incarnates seem to have treated him coolly due to his disinterest in war. However, his Incarnate form still does have some effects on his psyche, as he said that "The only thing I care about is swinging this hammer" and the fact that he's still here making weapons that no one's gonna use.
Abilities[]
Enhanced Strength: His body is full of muscle. However, he is sluggish and high in fat, making him unsuitable for combat. He mainly use his strength in smithing .[1]
Expert Craftsmanship: Although he can't be used in combat, he is able call on a vast amount of blacksmithing knowledge and techniques to implement a wide range of processes without assistance. The arms produced by the Cyclops were superlative in their performance, to the point that they could not be manufactured on a large scale.
History[]
After the war[]
After the disbandment of the Incarnate Corp, Ned retreat to mountain and started to make various weapons and gadgets. He is the one who created the weapons for Hank to hunt down their comrades(Referring to Bomb Lance). At one point, Cain once came to recruit Ned, but he refused for Cain's invitation. So Cain accepted Ned's decision and allowed him to live as he pleased. Later, Ned was still making weapons for his old comrades, such as helmet for Theo, bow for Miles, and grenades for Topher.
Hank and Schaal came to Ned's forge so he can do maintenance on Hank's weapons. Ned then asks Hank if at that point he decided to kill him. Schaal then stumbles upon a room where he keep the weapons that he had made for his comrades and he explained to her which is whose, but he soon realized that they have all dead. When Schaal asked why he's still making weapons for those who have gone, he said that even if they were dead, this is still his job. He then made a bed and a room for Schaal.
After Schaal had gone to sleep, Ned begins talking to Hank about the capabilities of the weapons he made for their comrades. Ned knew that Hank was looking for comfort, salvation and redemption, He told Hank that even if he hadn't changed, Hank still wouldn't get as he wanted. Ned said that he still made weapons for their deceased comrades and did not have normal humanity. Ned asks Hank if he wants to keep fighting even though his weapons and guns have been stained with blood. he gave Hank a shell bullet that contain snake venom can could block Cain's blood power, and also did some maintenance on Schaal's gun. As Hank and Schaal leave, Ned told Hank about Cain's attempts to recruit him. He hope Hank can show him a time where he doesn't have to make weapons anymore. After the Capital Incident, Ned closed his forge and left.
