Summary[]
A school for prodigies selected from all over Patria. Not to be confused with the places of worship scattered throughout the land, “the Church ” is also a nickname for a place of learning in the capital Newfort. Officially named the Aletheian Church School of Patria, its history stretches back to colonial times. In the pioneering days when funds to build schools in every region were hard to come by, the Church offered educational programs to fill the void.[1]
The church erected in the capital became the highest seat of learning and took on the development of the youths who would lead the next generation. Local churches and clerics on pilgrimages scouted exceptional children and offered them the chance to receive advanced education at the capital’s church. In time, cities development the capacity to operate their own educational institutions, and the Church readjusted its course toward its original purpose of promulgating the word of God. Nonetheless, “the Church ” in the capital remained famous as a superior place of learning with the support and patronage of its alumni. Owing to its renown, a division was opened for the children of families of wealth and status. The division, however, was a separate from the school for prodigies and focused on creating lateral connections and imparting the wisdom necessary to survive in society and government.
