Summary[]

Although Hank successfully suppressed Cain in the duel, he became overwhelmed when he discovered Elaine's naked corpse hidden by Cain, and therefore missed the perfect opportunity to stop Cain. When Cain discovered that Schaal was a "Holy Virgin" who like Elaine can hear the "The Voice of God" , he captured her and gravely injured Hank, even "returned" Elaine's corpse to him.
